The Laurent-Perrier Terrace opens at José Carlos García Restaurant, Malaga

The Malaga chef José Carlos García launches the 2024 summer season of the Laurent-Perrier Terrace of his Michelin-star restaurant in Malaga capital.

Passionate about the local Andalucian produce, the Malaga chef Jose Carlos Garcia is also an ambassador of the French Maison, Laurent-Perrier, which he pairs with his menus of traditional Andalusian recipes.

The Luxury Editor joined the chef to celebrate the opening of the terrace for the summer season. This summer the chef has created a new menu designed to be enjoyed on the terrace. These different dishes, showcasing his cuisine, include salted butter brioche with lobster and cocktail sauce, the Bloody Mary oyster, shrimp with coconut and seaweed, crayfish ravioli with crayfish, and crayfish ravioli with langoustine and foie, caviar with brioche bread, scallop and citrus tartlet, Blázquez loin of pork, and a selection of Malaga cheeses.

These light snacks pair perfectly with a glass or bottle of champagne Laurent-Perrier Brut La Cuvée, the signature champagne of the Maison; Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, the first champagne made by a process of maceration in 1968 in Champagne; Laurent-Perrier Brut Millésimé 2015, Laurent-Perrier Blanc de Blancs – Brut Nature, a 100% Chardonnay champagne, without any added sugar, with the purest aromas of the Chardonnay grape; Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Iteration N°26 and Laurent-Perrier Alexandra Rosé 2004.

The terrace, with wonderful views of the Mediterranean, is a privileged space in the Port of Malaga, next to the unique Chapel of the Virgen del Carmen, opposite the mooring of luxury yachts and with the monumental backdrop of the Alcazaba and the Cathedral.
