Little Women Themed Afternoon Tea at Conrad London St. James
Fans of the classic tale Little Women, also recently adapted into a hit film by Greta Gerwig, can indulge their literary fantasies at a special edition afternoon tea at Conrad London St. James. With flavours inspired by characters from this ever-popular story, the themed experience will launch on International Women’s Day (8th March) and run throughout the month of March.
From a lemon, candy ginger and dark honey opera cake inspired by Saoirse Ronan’s character Jo, to a raspberry macaroon with ruby chocolate ganache and fresh raspberries in homage to Meg, played by Emma Watson, this is the perfect Mother’s Day treat for those with a love for the classic story. Other flavours on offer include a jasmine tea roulade served with chantilly cream & mango compote in tribute to the sweet character Beth, and a cocoa & caramelised hazelnut tart with espresso infused cream inspired by Amy.
Mother’s Day Afternoon tea at Conrad London St. James is £45 per person, including a glass of champagne or a cocktail. Mums will also receive a special gift on the day.

Bouquet Masterclass with Lavender Green at South Place Hotel
Looking for a creative but sustainable activity to experience with you Mum this Mother’s Day? South Place Hotel have partnered with the luxury florists, Lavender Green and Fairtrade flowers to offer you an exclusive Bouquet Masterclass that will teach even the most novice florist the art of hand-tied floristry. Using an array of gorgeous seasonal flowers, all from Fairtrade, Lavender Green will take you through all the steps, provide all tools and materials, so you’ll get to take your creation home with you Fairtrade will also provide a small talk about the story of their flowers and their exciting new partnership with luxury florists – that launched as of 2020, with Lavender Green being one of the first.
The masterclass will take place in their beautiful Mystical Garden – and each guest will also receive a St-Germain Spritz to sip on whilst working on their beautiful bouquet. The masterclass is prices at £75 per person and takes place on Saturday 21st March, from 10.30am until 11.30am.

Sea Containers London – Mum’s Eat Free at Sea Containers Restaurant*
On Sunday 22nd March, every mum dining at Sea Containers Restaurant will receive their meal completely on the house as a special Mother’s Day treat (when visiting for brunch or dinner). As the matriarch of the family relaxes, the rest of the family can take the ‘How Well Do You Know Your Mum’ quiz and stand the chance of winning a Sunday stay for two if all questions are answered correctly.
The Brunch menu includes dishes such as shakshuka with labneh, dukkah and toast and a sharing roast of Côte de Bouef, beef dripping and all the trimmings. Dinner options include cod loin with slow cooked coco beans, chorizo, parsley and pepper or belly of pork, black cabbage, prunes and an Armagnac jus.

Fancy Tea at Lyaness
Those looking to treat their mum to the ultimate afternoon tea can book into Thameside bar, Lyaness for Fancy Tea – a tongue-in-cheek take on a high-end 80’s dinner party complete with paired cocktails designed by Ryan Chetiyawardana (Mr Lyan) and the Lyan team. Every guest visiting on Mother’s Day will receive a free welcome cocktail before being served a menu of bites including roast beef on focaccia, rosemary mayo and rocket; poached salmon on dark rye bread with tarragon mayo and watercress sandwiches; pineapple upside down scone and strawberry and mascarpone éclairs. Paired cocktails include the Glasshouse Spritz (Ultra Raspberry, cherry tomato, bubbles) and Jasmine Gimlet (Purple pineapple, Bombay Sapphire, jasmine, citrus cordial).
Fancy Tea is priced at £58 for the full tea selection, four paired cocktails, cakes and savouries. The Boozeless Tea (£38) and a Champagne Tea (£48) are also available. Fancy Tea is available in Lyaness between 12pm and 5pm (last sitting at 3:30pm).
Brunch At The Churchill At The Hyatt Regency
This March, The Montagu Kitchen will celebrate in style, joining forces with Moët & Chandon to offer unlimited Moët Rosé Impérial – made primarily from pinot noir. Located within Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, the Marylebone restaurant, which is inspired by Chartwell House and Garden, brings seasonal British dining from garden to city.
On offer will be bottomless Moët & Chandon Rosé Champagne and bottomless oysters for a premium dining experience to remember on the 22nd March. Overlooking Portman Square Garden, the live band ‘Wandering Hands’ will be playing throughout brunch and every mother will receive a special gift to take home.

Mains include an opulent Sea Bass served with Clam Guazzetto, Grilled Cotswold Lamb Chops, Confit Potatoes & Wild Garlic, as well as Trofie Alla Genovese – a classic Italian dish made with green beans and pesto hailing from Liguria. Feeling indulgent? Chucs’ Fir Farm Burger served with gooey Fontina, rich Truffle Mayonnaise & Fries is sure to satisfy.
Tickets for The Chucs Mother’s Day Jazz Lunch cost £55.00 for adults and are inclusive of a glass of champagne for Mum, three-course meal and live entertainment. Children’s tickets, which include a main course and dessert, cost £12.00. There will be two sittings, running from 12:00 – 14:00 & 14:30 – 16:30.
