Earlier this summer, perfume power house, Gucci collaborated with multi-platinum selling recording artist and songwriter, Miley Cyrus to be the face of their latest fragrance by Creative Director Alessandro Michele; Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum.
With distinctive individuality and an authentic sense of self-expression, Cyrus is the perfect person to embody this new fragrance. The creative, almost whimsical, campaign was directed and shot by artist Petra Collins with Cyrus featuring in a series of videos and images as she journeys through a world of fantasy inspired by Japanese anime peppered with plenty of pop references.
The new scent is joyful and optimistic – just like Cyrus – and was inspired by the belief that the Gardenia Flower poses mystical powers. Blended with the solar note of Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute, the signature scent is steeped in with a cheerful Pear Blossom accord and a touch of Brown Sugar.
