With equal emphasis on style and function, the inaugural joint endeavour between Aesop and RÆBURN the London-based responsible fashion pioneer—is a portable pouch for on-the-go hand care, available in three variants.
Handcrafted from pre-consumer recycled cotton and available in sophisticated navy blue, the design features three purpose-fit pockets to house a trio of Aesop products. A co-branded cotton tape enables the pouch to be rolled up securely for neat portability inside any bag.
The Adventurer Roll Up is specially designed to house three products to cleanse and hydrate the hands when commuting, travelling, or simply out-and-about: Resurrection Rinse-Free Hand Wash, Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm and their new release, Resurrection Rinse-Free Hand Mist.
As part of the collaboration, 300 limited-edition RÆMADE Adventurer Roll Ups each unique and individually numbered were handcrafted in East London using reclaimed 1960s aeronautical navigation maps. Foregrounding the RÆBURN and Aesop commitment to sustainability, the RÆMADE Adventurer Roll Up uses maps of territories greatly affected by environmental degradation. They include Borneo sadly known as an area of extreme deforestation as well as the Aral Sea, which has tragically shrunk over time due to over farming. Four roll ups can be made from just one map, leaving no fabric wasted.
A third take on the design will see RÆBURN and Aesop providing an Open Source Roll Up pattern, making this practical pouch accessible to anyone with access to a sewing machine.
